SEMO Electric Cooperative currently has a career opportunity for a qualified candidate to join the team as an Accountant. The qualified candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting plus three or more years of accounting experience including, but not limited to general ledger, financial statement preparation, payroll, and sales & use tax. The candidate must also be proficient at Microsoft Word & Excel, proficient in using a 10 key calculator, possess the ability to work independently, be detail oriented, work outside of the “box” and assess and interpret information in order to make a judgment.
