“I am beautiful. I am talented.” Welcome to the Week 192 of The Friday Feature. Lainey Wilson, the recent recipient of the CMA Award for Female Vocalist of the Year, shared an inspiring yet overlooked acceptance speech: “I am getting up every single day and I’m looking myself in the mirror and saying, I am beautiful, I am smart, I am talented, I am godly, I am fearless.”

Lainey Wilson’s journey wasn’t an instant success; a decade ago, she was selling t-shirts for another performer. Success unfolds gradually; it requires relentless perseverance. You have to keep pushing forward. I encourage you to go look in the mirror and say, “I am talented, I am smart, I am beautiful, I am godly, I am fearless.” Let’s get after it.
