The SEMO Electric Foundation Scholarship application window continues for a short period for high school seniors aiming to further their education at a college or technical school in fall 2024. To secure an application, contact your high school counselor or email ron@gosemo.com. These scholarships are specifically available for high school seniors whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are member-owners of SEMO Electric Cooperative.
In 2023, 92 local high school seniors were honored with a SEMO Electric Foundation Scholarship, each valued at $650, recognizing their outstanding academic accomplishments. This recognition and financial support are made possible through the commitment of SEMO Electric’s member-owners who participate in Operation Round-Up. This program facilitates bill rounding to the nearest dollar. Since its inception in 2008, more than one million dollars has been awarded to empower regional youth in their journey towards success.
