Sun Outage May Affect TV Picture

Don’t worry if TV channels go dark, pixelate, or freeze briefly between March 2- March 6. It’s due to a phenomenon called sun outage, which occurs yearly in the spring and fall when solar radiation overwhelms TV satellite signals. Nothing’s wrong with your TV or cable service; the problem should last only 15 minutes or so each day.
