Feeding Christ's Children Summer Food Program

Team SEMO and dedicated volunteers come together to load and transport nutrition bags from the First Christian Church (FCC) of Dexter to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission. This heartwarming annual event is expertly coordinated by FCC's Kellie Reese. Since its inception in 2013, SEMO Electric Cooperative has played a significant role in delivering thousands of meals through this program. Every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. for five consecutive weeks, Team SEMO had the privilege of assisting in the transportation of 850 bags (170 each week) to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission in Dexter, Missouri. These bags contain meals that were thoughtfully assembled at the First Christian Church of Dexter, with members from multiple area churches coming together to make the Feeding Christ's Children Summer Food Program a reality for those in need.
