To start or transfer service at a new or additional address, please review our residential and business information and visit our Bloomfield or Sikeston office.

Residential (New Member & Existing Member)

SEMO Electric Cooperative will process a soft credit check to determine all deposits. Deposits will be either waived, $200 or $400 depending on credit rating. Credit checks will only be submitted in person with proper identification. Or you are welcome to open a pay-as-you-go account for as little as $25 with no credit check. To stop billing and close your account, please call us at (800) 813-5230 or visit our Bloomfield or Sikeston office with the following information:

  • Name under which the account is listed
  • Social Security Number or FEI/EIN number
  • Meter and/or Account Number
  • Phone Number
  • Address of service to be disconnected
  • Forwarding mailing address
  • Date of disconnection
