The Friday Feature w/Sean: 2020 Graduates: It’s Your Time

#TheFridayFeature #5 There are about three million high school graduates this year in the United States. One of those happens to be our son. It’s hard to believe that three months before he was born, it was 9/11. Three months after he turned 18, it was COVID-19. We have an obligation to help them understand that they are the next generation of essential workers. They will become the doctors, the nurses, the utility workers, the contractors, the restaurant owners, …the educators. They will tell stories for years to come. Let us help them understand that now is their turn, now is their time. Son, and your fellow graduates, take the lemon that we have and don’t just squeeze it and make lemonade, but take the seeds and plant trees. You have an obligation to make the world a better place and I know you can do it. I love you!
