The simplicity of capturing photos and videos is one of the best parts of smart devices. It has become easier than ever before to capture and save memories through our phones, tablets, and laptops.
But, sometimes devices aren't secure. They can crash, an update can wipe out all data, the device could receive unrepairable damage, etc., making the security of photos, videos, and precious memories uncertain.
Luckily, there's an app for that! Google Photos is a free app available for any smart device. Those with Google Accounts can sync their device media with Google Photos so that any photo or video taken/in the camera roll will be automatically uploaded to Google Photos. These photos are only visible to you, unless you want to share them, and can only be deleted from the Google Photos app. These photos can then be accessed on any device that allows you to reach your Google Drive.
