Internet
If your ONT is plugged directly into the wall:
- Unplug your ONT (router).
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in.
Note: the full reboot cycle may take up to 5 minutes.
- For optimal speed, it's recommended to connect your devices directly to your GoSEMO Fiber router.
- Your router will automatically perform band steering to ensure the best wireless speed.
- Depending on your location in your home, your devices will be connected to the most suitable network.
- Newer compatible devices will likely connect to the faster 5GHz network.
- The 2.4GHz network provides broader Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home.
For additional assistance, our 24/7 support team can be reached at (573) 321-9203.
There are a few things to take into consideration when testing your internet speed:
- Older devices may not have the necessary hardware for full wireless speed utilization.
- We recommend a device reboot if you suddenly experience a Wi-Fi slow down.
- Comparing speed test results on multiple devices can help determine if you’re having a connection problem, a wireless problem, or an issue with your specific device.
- Environmental factors can also play a factor in your wireless speed test results. Things like baby monitors, microwaves, and security cameras are what we like to call “Wi-Fi haters.”
For the most accurate results, it's recommended to perform a speed test from a wired connection using the GoSEMO Fiber router's speed test site.

- This would be due to your device’s limitation and unrelated to GoSEMO Fiber.
- To expand your connectivity options, you can buy a gigabit switch.
- Plug the gigabit switch into the LAN port on your GigaSpire.
- This allows you to connect and use multiple devices simultaneously.
- Disconnect the power cord from your GigaSpire device.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to restore power to your GigaSpire.
If your device supports WPS, follow these steps:
- Refer to your device's installation manual for instructions
