SEMO Electric Cooperative and other electric cooperatives met with the Federal Communications Commission’s Chairman Ajit Pai and Staff to discuss the Connect America Fund Phase II, which could provide up to $650 million over 10 years for broadband services for rural Missouri. CAF-II is part of the Commission’s reform and modernization of its universal service support programs.
